Focus. Your eyes determine where you are going. What are you focusing on? Your students learned today that ADVANCing the kingdom involves a focus on the KING. We gravitate towards what we focus on. Is it school? Work? Family? Relationships? Matt 6:22 tells us “the eye is the lamp of the body.” Where are your eyes leading you? What are you letting in? The second part of the verse talks about what a healthy eye looks like. “if your eye is healthy, your whole body will be full of light.” Not part, not half, but the WHOLE. Now the other side of the coin is ” but if your eye is bad, your whole body will be full of darkness.” Don’t miss that. Focus is what consumes you. What drives you. We gravitate toward whatever we focus on. A Focus on Christ is essential to ADVANCE His kingdom!
